In Epidaurus, you will admire one of the most impressive and important archeological sites, the place of worship of the healer God Asclepius,. Among other things, you will visit the church, the stadium, the ancient theater, the baths, the High School, the Dome, and the rich Archaeological Museum.

Kalambaka & Meteora

The sanctuary of Meteora, at the northwestern tip of the Thessalian Plain, with its impressive rocks that rise like supernatural sculptures and the monasteries anchored in them, are a spooky and unique landscape in the whole world. Recognized as a "Preserved and Protected Monument of Humanity" by UNESCO and a protected habitat of the Natura 2000 network, it is an international symbol of holiness and sanctity.

The rare Byzantine architecture in combination with the enchanting landscape of the enormous rocks impresses the visitor. The visit to Meteora and the Monasteries [Varlaam, Megalo Meteorou or Metamorfosi Sotiros, Agia Triada, Agios Stefanos] includes two more main stations: Kalampaka, where you can visit the Byzantine church of Panagia & traditional hagiography workshops and the amphitheatrically built in the western part of Meteora, picturesque village of Kastraki, which offers many options of traditional hostels for accommodation.

This excursion offers images of mountain landscapes and the inland of Greece, revealing rare and dreamy natural landscapes.
