The picturesque city of Nafplion is considered one of the most romantic cities in Greece and will win your heart from the first moment, with its beautiful alleys, the historic Venetian fortress Bourtzi in the middle of the port, the Venetian Fortress of Palamidi [1711-1714], where Theodoros Kolokotronis was imprisoned, which you can visit by climbing 999 steps, the neoclassical & other emblematic buildings, the impressive squares and its interesting museums [War, Archaeological, Museum of Kombologi]. In Epidaurus, you will admire one of the most impressive and important archeological sites, the place of worship of the healer God Asclepius,. Among other things, you will visit the church, the stadium, the ancient theater, the baths, the High School, the Dome, and the rich Archaeological Museum.

Recognized as a "Preserved and Protected Monument of Humanity" by UNESCO and a protected habitat of the Natura 2000 network, it is an international symbol of holiness and sanctity.

The rare Byzantine architecture in combination with the enchanting landscape of the enormous rocks impresses the visitor. The visit to Meteora and the Monasteries [Varlaam, Megalo Meteorou or Metamorfosi Sotiros, Agia Triada, Agios Stefanos] includes two more main stations: Kalampaka, where you can visit the Byzantine church of Panagia & traditional hagiography workshops and the amphitheatrically built in the western part of Meteora, picturesque village of Kastraki, which offers many options of traditional hostels for accommodation.
